Who we are

Information you give us

When you request a case review through our contact form, by email, or by phone, we collect what you choose to share: your name, contact details, and your description of what happened. Because of the nature of our practice, that description often includes information about medical care and health conditions. You control how much detail to include; a short summary is enough to start.

We treat inquiries about potential cases as confidential and use them to evaluate and respond to your request. Submitting an inquiry does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship (see our Terms of Use), but confidentiality is how we handle these communications regardless.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect some information automatically when you visit:

• How you found us. A first-party cookie records the source of your first visit (for example, a search engine, an ad, or a referring site) and the page you landed on, so that if you later contact us we know which of our efforts reached you. It expires after 90 days and identifies a browser, not a person.
• Usage analytics. We use analytics services (including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and PostHog) to understand how visitors move through the site — pages viewed, time on page, and interactions such as scrolling and clicks. Microsoft Clarity may reproduce anonymized session replays of that activity. These tools use cookies or similar technologies.
• Advertising measurement. When you arrive from one of our ads, Google's conversion tag lets us know that an ad led to an inquiry, so we can measure what our advertising accomplishes. We do not run third-party ad networks on this site or sell advertising space.
• Technical logs. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.

How we use information

We use the information described above to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, to communicate with you by phone, email, or text message about your potential case, to provide legal services if you retain us, to measure and improve our website and advertising, and to comply with legal and professional obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share information only with:

• Service providers that operate parts of this website and our practice on our behalf — hosting, secure form and data storage, analytics, and the phone, email, and text-messaging services we use to reply to you. They are permitted to use the information only to provide those services.
• Professional colleagues where needed to evaluate or pursue your case — for example, co-counsel or medical consultants — consistent with our confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements, if disclosure is required by law, court order, or the rules of professional conduct.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them, though analytics will no longer recognize your visit. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on and manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Center.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to it, and longer where professional-responsibility rules, conflict-checking, or legal obligations require. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Parents and guardians may of course contact us about a potential case involving a child; the information they provide is handled as described in this policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email peter@nationalmalpracticelawyers.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law and our professional obligations (some records, such as client files, are subject to retention rules we cannot override).

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted prominently on this page.
